Stuart Young
I live in Berkshire with my wonderful partner, 2 dogs and a cat and have a beautiful daughter who has just received a 2:1 in her final year at University for photography. When I'm not painting I like to blog about things I find inspiring or interesting, to write, read, cook, play the piano and I hold a 1st degree black belt in Aikijutsu. I also run my own print buying company.
I was born in Watford in 1965 and attended College studying Typographic Design in the early 80s. I started painting 25 years ago whilst garnering an understanding of colour through the printed medium and was influenced by the great artists such as Jackson Pollock and Russell Mills.
The collection of art on my Stu-Art blog demonstrates my personal style of abstract and form leaving the viewer to see what they want to in each painting. I take inspiration from all places and experiences whether it's dancing, music, nature or emotions.
